How can it possibly be 72 hours?

Because there's one person on it (me), no internal meetings, no design-to-dev handoff, and a battle-tested kit of components refined across every build. You give me copy and brand assets up front, I cut the bureaucracy that bloats a normal agency. That's what gets a real, reviewable build in front of you inside 72 hours — every tier, no exceptions. Bigger builds keep going after that: Foundation wraps in about a week, Authority in two to three.

Question 2

"Free until you love it" — what's the catch?

There isn't one. I build the full site. You see it live on a staging URL. If you don't love it, you don't pay, and we part friends. The "catch" is on me: I only take on projects I think will land. Picky on intake = generous on terms.

Why no Wix, Shopify, or Squarespace?

They're great for someone else. They're not great for you, the local business who wants to look one-of-one. Hosted builders give you the same site as 10,000 other businesses, and lock your data into their ecosystem. Custom code = your brand, your speed, your portability.

Do you write the copy?

I'll help you sharpen it, but I don't write it from scratch. The site comes alive when your voice is on it — not mine. If copy is a blocker I can refer you to a writer I trust in Winnipeg.

What if I need changes 6 months later?

Accepted Answer

Every build includes a free-changes window: 1 month on Launch, 3 on Foundation, 6 on Authority. Inside that window, email me and it's done, no charge. After it closes, ongoing changes move to a retainer ($175+/mo), or bigger asks get a one-off quote. Either way, the source code is yours — you can bring in any developer, I write it clean for that exact reason.

Do you take on businesses outside Winnipeg?

Yes. Half the book is local; the other half is across MB, ON, and BC. The fit call is on Zoom either way. I prefer working with brick-and-mortar local businesses — bakeries, detailers, salons, realtors, trades — because that's who I keep getting referred to.

Do you use AI to build the sites?

Yes, and so does every shop worth hiring right now. That part is over as a differentiator. What still separates the work is who checks it. I test every page across twenty screen-width combinations before it goes live, I keep a written record of anything that got past me, and I'm the one who fixes it at 11pm. Every line ships reviewed, under my name. That's the difference between a site that still holds up in month six and one that quietly stopped working in month two.
